The program includes a 10GB, 1-year renewable license for Splunk Enterprise, access to Splunk Enterprise Security (ES) and Security Orchestration, Automation & Response (SOAR) Community Edition, plus associated courses to qualifying not-for-profit institutions of higher education – all at no cost.

This no-cost program for students, faculty and staff includes:

Intermediate tier

Building on the foundational tier, this no-cost program for students and faculty includes:

Additional courses for Enterprise Security (ES) and Security Orchestration, Automation & Response (SOAR)
Train-the-trainer options
Program design, delivery and support through Splunk Education team

Advanced Tier

This takes the foundational and intermediate tiers further at no cost to students and faculty. It includes:

If you are a faculty member or university professor* who wants to use Splunk to teach students how to leverage big data analytics, practical cybersecurity skills and data-driven research insights, and meet the program requirements, then you’re ready to apply.
