The teams within the team

Corporate development

We leverage Splunk’s balance sheet and the ecosystem around us to accelerate growth. The goal is to highlight Splunk’s innovation and disruption efforts in order to drive acquisitions, inbound OEMs and our Splunk Ventures program — a strategic investment program for startups.

Corporate strategy

We’re responsible for driving the development, coordination and communication of Splunk’s corporate strategy in partnership with our CEO and executive staff. We work with all functions at Splunk to uncover growth and operational improvement opportunities and communicate strategy through various events, such as our annual Employee Kick Off.

Pricing and monetization

Our team is monetizing Splunk’s innovations — turning code into cash. We work cross-functionally with product management, sales and finance to drive the right pricing strategy, as well as price realization. Pricing is constantly evaluated for effectiveness in light of competitive threats and business opportunities. Learn more about Splunk’s approach to pricing here.
