About the role:

Ready to shake things up? . As the Product Manager for Observability at Splunk AppDynamics, you will own the strategy and roadmap for observability solutions for enterprise customers.
You will need to use your technical expertise and deep customer insights to deliver customer value. This position requires you to be a self-starter with the ability to take ownership, work with tight timelines, handle various tasks simultaneously while continuing to develop a positive work culture. In addition, great oral communication and written documentation skills are critical for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Own the strategic direction and creation of Splunk AppDynamics roadmap, with key initiatives possibly including:
  • Building observability offerings that monitor application performance, infrastructure and Large Language Models
  • Educate sales on Product Features and observability opportunities.
  • Represent the team as the main interface for collaboration with internal business partners
  • Partner with other product managers, development managers and technical leads across the organization to align delivery
  • Actively conduct competitive and market research to understand emerging trends and how they can be used within your product lines.
  • Define Key Performance Indicators that will help in the decision-making process and showcase results.
  • Manage the product backlog to ensure the highest business value is being delivered to our customers.
  • Author PRFAQs and PRDs for various features / product lines
  • Produce and lead go-live release communications
  • Present roadmaps, complex ideas and features to a broad audience effectively

Requirements

  • 3-4 years of experience as a technical product manager
  • Experience of observability tools, containerization /kubernetes and LLMs is a plus
  • You love getting into the details of technical solutions as well as solving for customer experience
  • A team player with a positive outlook and entrepreneurial spirit
  • Independently author well-written PRFAQs and PRDs
  • A proven ability to do both tactical work and set an overall strategy
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment requiring a high degree of productivity, adaptability, innovation and follow-through.
  • Strong communication skills: ability to formulate clear, succinct summaries and recommendations and influence decisions for peers and executive audiences.
  • BA/BS or MA/MS is required
