Role Summary
We are looking for a Product Manager to help bring our industry leading Observability solutions to a new level. You will work closely with your peers in product, engineering, design, and GTM team to prioritize and drive a roadmap of innovative capabilities around our Splunk Infrastructure Monitoring product.
This position requires understanding users’ needs and workflows, instincts and creativity to ideate and implement new user journeys, and technical expertise. Knowledge of development will enable you to produce clear product requirements and navigate the technical complexity of our monitoring products and development processes.

What you'll get to do
- Drive the end-to-end product lifecycle, including understanding customer and user needs, translating and communicating those needs crisply through a prioritized roadmap, and partnering with design and engineering teams to deliver a compelling product experience
- Actively maintain a view of how the market, competition and technologies are evolving, and factor it, as well as feedback from internal groups and customers, into the product strategy
- Collaborate with product marketing, support and the sales team to drive GTM efforts and solve for business limiters within your control and pursue key business accelerants
Must-have Qualifications
- 4-6 years of experience, including 3 years in product or technical product management roles; BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent (MBA a plus).
- Proven ability to prioritize requirements, identify significant opportunities, and build consensus around roadmaps in ambiguous areas.
- Passionate about customer journey, user experience, and simplicity; capable of delving into technical requirements.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to lead and influence through persuasion, patience, and energy.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and Cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and experience deploying examples to support product capabilities and marketing.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; adept at identifying patterns and synthesizing data.
- Experience in software development, understanding engineering trade-offs, and catering to the needs of developers and operators.
- Committed to delivering quality products and features on time.

- Experience in customer-facing technical roles (e.g., Technical Consultant, Solution Architect, Pre-sales Consultant).
- Background in enterprise SaaS; infrastructure monitoring or analytics experience is a plus.
- Expertise in Kubernetes and Cloud technologies; familiarity with OTel is advantageous.
- Knowledge of streaming data architectures, particularly metrics.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and participation in all stages of the software development lifecycle.

Base Pay Range
SF Bay Area, Seattle Metro, and New York City Metro Area
Base Pay Range: $159,200.00 - 218,900.00 per year
California (excludes SF Bay Area), Washington (excludes Seattle Metro), Washington DC Metro, and Massachusetts
Base Pay Range: $143,280.00 - 197,010.00 per year
All other cities and states excluding California, Washington, Massachusetts, New York City Metro Area and Washington DC Metro Area.
Base Pay Range: $127,360.00 - 175,120.00 per year
Splunk provides flexibility and choice in the working arrangement for most roles, including remote and/or in-office roles. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location. Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out above, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for incentive compensation and may be eligible for equity or long-term cash awards.
