What You’ll Get To Do
- Lead Advanced Analytics Initiatives: Conduct clickstream analysis, forecasting, and predictive modeling to gain insights into user behavior and optimize user journeys. Utilize inferential statistics, including regression analysis, to drive strategic improvements in product performance.
- Develop and Optimize Feedback Mechanisms: Create and refine in-app feedback systems using exploratory analysis and A/B testing to enhance data quality and engagement across all user segments.
- Integrate and Analyze Data: Combine telemetry data with user feedback metrics to provide a comprehensive view of product performance and user sentiment. Use inferential statistics to identify patterns and drive data-driven decision-making.
- Drive Data-Driven Decision-Making: Leverage insights from telemetry and user feedback to inform product teams, facilitating strategic decisions that enhance user experience and align with business objectives. Apply statistical models to predict future trends and outcomes.
- Collaborate and Engage with Stakeholders: Work with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on measurement objectives and strategies. Use data-driven insights to guide product planning and execution, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
Must-have Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent applied experience.
- Proven expertise in advanced analytics, including forecasting, modeling, regression analysis, and clickstream analysis, to extract actionable insights from complex data sets.
- Strong skills in statistical analysis, data interpretation, and experimental design, with a particular focus on applying inferential statistics to solve business challenges.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, driving data-driven decisions that enhance product strategy and performance.
- Experience in synthesizing telemetry data with qualitative and quantitative insights, enabling comprehensive analysis that informs strategic decision-making.
- Proven track record in developing scalable data solutions across various product lines and user segments, ensuring data-driven strategies align with overarching business objectives.

Base Pay Range
SF Bay Area, Seattle Metro, and New York City Metro Area
Base Pay Range: $159,200.00 - 218,900.00 per year
California (excludes SF Bay Area), Washington (excludes Seattle Metro), Washington DC Metro, and Massachusetts
Base Pay Range: $143,280.00 - 197,010.00 per year
All other cities and states excluding California, Washington, Massachusetts, New York City Metro Area and Washington DC Metro Area.
Base Pay Range: $127,360.00 - 175,120.00 per year
Splunk provides flexibility and choice in the working arrangement for most roles, including remote and/or in-office roles. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location. Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out above, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for incentive compensation and may be eligible for equity or long-term cash awards.
