Sr. Partner Experience Marketing Manager

About the Role:

The Sr. Partner Experience Marketing Manager will help to create unforgettable partner experiences and engagement with partners across the ecosystem. This position requires a blend of creativity and strategic thinking with an understanding of the partner landscape to support the team. This will require concepting and delivering Splunk’s partner experiences and integration into global events and campaigns.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive the strategy for partner engagement and integration into Splunk and Cisco’s global marquee events
  • Ideate and bring to life, both digital and in-person experiences that not only highlight Splunk’s offerings but also engage audiences in meaningful ways
  • Develop actionable plans needed to deliver a positive, valuable and differentiated customer experience, with partners for events and campaigns
  • Partner with Global Events Marketing (GEM) and Partner Sales to ensure our events serve both Splunk and Cisco customers and partners
  • Work closely with GEM, Sales, Global Partner Marketing to secure the right mix of opportunities based on business goals and priorities.
  • Oversight of budget requirements and responsibility for reporting to ensure all campaigns are data driven and deliver a robust return on investment
  • Demonstrate value of event impact through ongoing communication and reporting to Sr. Leadership
  • Build repeatable and scalable processes and playbooks for planning and execution
  • Partner with creative agencies to bring strategic concepts to life, contributing to comprehensive marketing strategies that align with Splunk’s overarching goals

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in related fields preferred
  • 5+ years of event experience for partners, in the software industry
  • Partner Marketing or Field Marketing leading and designing events with and for partners
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to master existing process and improve them
  • Ability to take a programmatic approach by establishing clear outcomes for partner journeys, establish clear milestone-based plans towards the objective.
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills, to drive the alignment and integration /value for partners
  • Strong collaboration and dynamic presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated with a consistent track record in leading programs
  • Strong analytical skills and a passion for leading a data-driven team focused on high ROI.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and experience in Exec-level engagement.
  • Creative, innovative, curious, resourceful and results-oriented.
  • Values having fun, while being disruptive, innovative, passionate and open.

Note:

Base Pay Range

SF Bay Area, Seattle Metro, and New York City Metro Area

Base Pay Range: $132,000.00 - 181,500.00 per year

California (excludes SF Bay Area), Washington (excludes Seattle Metro), Washington DC Metro, and Massachusetts

Base Pay Range: $118,800.00 - 163,350.00 per year

All other cities and states excluding California, Washington, Massachusetts, New York City Metro Area and Washington DC Metro Area.

Base Pay Range: $105,600.00 - 145,200.00 per year

Splunk provides flexibility and choice in the working arrangement for most roles, including remote and/or in-office roles. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location. Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out above, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for incentive compensation and may be eligible for equity or long-term cash awards.
