Role Summary

Splunk AppDynamics, a leader in observability solutions for both cloud and on-premises environments, empowers customers with end-to-end visibility across their entire application ecosystems, - cloud, on-premises, or hybrid. Our team is dedicated to developing, maintaining, and supporting SaaS and on-premises offerings within the observability product suite.
We're looking for a front end Software Engineer to enhance our application and data platform as we drive innovation in application observability. Our team thrives on solving complex customer challenges, operating with agility, and iterating quickly to deliver world-class solutions. With ambitious goals to create industry-leading products, you will play a key role in our success within this fast-growing market. If you're passionate about innovation and excited by the challenge of building highly scalable systems that process large-scale data, this role is for you.

What you'll get to do

  • Create intuitive user interfaces and visualizations for complex data and workflows.
  • Design and build features to enhance user experience and launch new products.
  • Develop reusable components for the next-generation UI platform.
  • Build advanced web applications using TypeScript and modern front-end frameworks.
  • Design tools to visualize and handle large datasets effectively.
  • Work with a team of exceptionally capable and dedicated peers, all the way from engineering to product management and customer support
  • Work in an open environment, work together to get things done and adapt to the team's changing needs

Must-have Qualifications

  • 3-6 yrs of Strong expertise in modern TypeScript and JavaScript frameworks, especially Angular or React.
  • 4+ Yrs of Strong experience in front end technologies - CSS, HTML, Redux, Bootstrap, Web sockets.
  • Skilled in developing and maintaining large Single Page Applications (SPAs)
  • Proven experience in building complex solutions with a focus on customer-centric design and great UX.
  • Experience working with or building unified UI libraries
  • Solid knowledge of Object-Oriented Design (OOD)

Nice-to-have Qualifications

We’ve taken special care to separate the must-have qualifications from the nice-to-haves. “Nice-to-have” means just that: Nice. To. Have. So, don’t worry if you can’t check off every box. We’re not hiring a list of bullet points–we’re interested in the whole you.
  • Familiarity with Highcharts, D3, jQuery, Protractor, RxJS, and Runtypes.
  • Understanding of containers and Kubernetes is a bonus.
