Role Summary
Splunk’s Product Documentation team is dedicated to delivering high-quality, comprehensive, and innovative documentation for Splunk products. We are seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer with a strong background in web development to join our team. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining applications that support our documentation platform, ensuring it meets the highest standards of performance, security, and usability. What you'll get to do
- Develop full stack applications that enhance the documentation platform, ensuring seamless integration with Splunk products and cloud infrastructure.
- Address performance and stability issues using a wide variety of tools and technologies.
- Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineers to define and prioritize development objectives.
- Participate in various Scrum ceremonies as a member of the agile team.
- Share knowledge and stay updated with new trends and best practices in the industry.
Must-have Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience developing software solutions with solid software engineering principles and expertise in web development using Node.js, PHP, and Python.
- 3+ years of experience with React or other front-end frameworks.
- Proven experience with full stack development, including front-end technologies and frameworks.
- Strong understanding of API, GraphQL, and modern web development practices.
- Experience building and maintaining high-traffic applications with a focus on performance, good practices, and standards adherence.
- 2+ years of experience with public cloud services (AWS/GCP/Azure) and a solid understanding of cloud-native services and solutions.
- Experience with test automation tools and utilities.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
Nice-to-have Qualifications
- Familiarity with Splunk Administration and observability tools.
- Knowledge of performance optimization techniques and best practices for high-traffic applications.
Education
- BA/BS in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent experience.

Base Pay Range
Costa Rica
Base Pay: CRC 28,800,000.00 - 39,600,000.00 per year
Splunk provides flexibility and choice in the working arrangement for most roles, including remote and/or in-office roles. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location. Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out above, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for incentive compensation and may be eligible for equity or long-term cash awards.
