Role Summary
As an IT Support Automation Developer, you will be instrumental in teaming with our business platform developers to build and manage support workflows in order to optimize and scale our employee support experience. You'll tap into your expertise in REST APIs, data aggregation, and string formatting to build robust, scalable support workflow solutions on our AI Employee Support Copilot platform. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring these integrations meet our stringent change management and security policies, system configurations, and API management practices.
What you'll get to do
- Design, develop, and maintain experience APIs, focusing on usability, scalability, and innovation.
- Use REST APIs for detailed data aggregation and manipulation.
- Ensure all workflows meet our high standards for security and change management policies.
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams to identify and implement integration patterns and standard methodologies.
- Communicate optimally with Service Owners and Program managers to understand requirements, provide updates, and deliver solutions.
- Analyze requirements and identify opportunities to design and implement automation use cases that improve the user experience and/or speed issue resolution.
- Work with enterprise automation tools including iPaaS, APIM, and RPA to streamline processes and improve system efficiency.
- Define and implement metrics that demonstrate the performance and value delivered by automated support solutions.
- Example iPaaS tools: Power Automate, Workato, ServiceNow Orchestration
- Example APIM tools: Azure Function Apps, AWS Lambda, Mulesoft
- Example RPA tools: UIPath, AutomationAnywhere
Must-have Qualifications
- Passionate focus on improving the user support experience
- 6 plus years of proven experience in building and handling APIs and integrations.
- Solid grasp of REST APIs, data aggregation, and string formatting.
- In-depth knowledge of integration patterns, standard methodologies, and enterprise automation tools (iPaaS, APIM, RPA).
- Familiarity with our organization's change management and security policies, system configurations, and API management practices.
Nice-to-have Qualifications

- Experience with Moveworks, Aisera or similar Conversational AI Platforms delivering Employee Support.
- Experience with platforms such as Workday, ServiceNow, Jamf, Intune.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.

Base Pay Range
India
Base Pay: INR 3,200,000.00 - 4,400,000.00 per year
Splunk provides flexibility and choice in the working arrangement for most roles, including remote and/or in-office roles. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location. Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out above, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for incentive compensation and may be eligible for equity or long-term cash awards.
