Role Summary
ROLE CAN BE BASED FROM MILANO / ROMA
 
Successful candidates will have a track record in building, managing, and delivering hard-working sales results. This individual will play a key role driving a significant share of revenue for Splunk in the market of local Public Sector
 
Responsibilities:
  • Developing both new and existing business within major accounts across the Italian market within local Public Sector
  • Consistently deliver adventurous license, support and service revenue quotas on a quarterly and yearly basis
  • Building and maintaining c-level relationships within our major accounts, identifying joint regional sales strategies
  • Working closely with partners for maximum efficiency with a demonstrable background of closing large opportunities through the Channel
  • Named Account penetration, account planning and opportunity management
  • Negotiate favorable pricing and business terms with large commercial enterprises by selling value and ROI
  • Building and managing a sales pipeline and forecasting, tracking activities and progress throughout the sales process
  • Engaging and leveraging internal, international and local, teams to maximize and expand deal sizes. Working closely with sales engineering, professional services, marketing, in-house as well as partner services resources
  • Using our sales methodology and processes effectively throughout all sales processes ensuring a quality driven service is delivered
  • Providing timely and informative input back to other corporate functions, particularly product management and marketing

Must Have:

  • 5+ years direct Enterprise Software selling experience to large enterprises / Public Sector is a must
  • Ability to grow and scale upward with the company; first line management experience a plus
  • Very comfortable in the “C” suite with a track record of managing and developing up to 8 account load
  • Strong executive presence and polish
  • Forecasting commitments and forecasting accuracy
  • Outstanding management, interpersonal, written and presentation skills
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, high growth, rapidly changing environment
  • Able to work independently and remotely from members of your team
  • Relevant software proven experience in any of the following: IT systems, enterprise or infrastructure management, application development and management, security, and/or analytics.
  • Use CRM systems (Sales Force) extensively
  • Track record of success and knowledge with prospects and customers in the defined territory
  • Education: Got it! Minimum of a Bachelor's degree; MBA a plus
  • Fluent in Italiano and english
