Manager - Partner Solutions Engineering

Splunk is growing its APAC partner technical team and is seeking a Partner Solutions Engineer Manager to lead the ANZ Partner Solutions Engineer Team to develop and enhance the productivity, efficiency and scalability of our ANZ partner ecosystem which span all business sectors and sizes.
This is an opportunity to work at a company that is changing the way information supports business decisions. You will be responsible for the team that is driving and growing that partner business, who manage the technology evaluation stage of the sales process in conjunction with the local sales and partner team, and act as the key technical advisor, enabler and advocate for our products and services within our partners. As a passionate Splunk leader, you will formulate and execute the Technical Engagement Strategy with our ANZ partners with a key focus on the value of Splunk technology, features, solutions, applications as well as articulate Splunk technology and product positioning to both business and technical executives
You must be able to develop and maintain strong senior and executive relationships within our partners, establishing yourself as a trusted advisor on all technical matters relating to Splunk’s products and services

 

Job Duties

  • Lead & develop the ANZ Partner Solutions Engineering team, while acting as the Technical Partner advisor to associated Sales, Sales Engineering & related leadership within this region
  • Define & execute an appropriate Partner Technical Engagement Strategy, aligned to the associated Partner strategy, that underpins the agreed APAC strategy
  • Ability to engage effectively with our partners at a senior or executive level to ensure our technical engagement strategy is aligned to the partner’s desired Splunk based GTM objectives
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to effectively represent the needs and requirements of the ANZ Partner Ecosystem with regards to the Splunk portfolio from both a technical as well as enablement perspective
  • Willingness to travel to visit and support partners, their related prospects and customers, as well active participation in associated marketing events
  • Ability to be organised and analytical, and eliminate business obstacles using creative and adaptive approaches
  • Be comfortable working for a dynamic technical organization within a fast-growing partner and customer base

Qualifications\Experience

  • 3/5 years+ in a Partner or Channel SE leadership role, ideally with a software technology company in ANZ
  • Proven experience leading a geographically dispersed team, across a number of number of ANZ countries
  • Ability to network and manage stakeholders effectively
  • Ability to think strategically while aligning to shorter term tactical needs
  • Experience on defining and delivering technical engagement strategies
  • Ambitious with a consistent record in technical software/hardware sales and knowledge of technology
  • Technical background in either IT, Security, DevOps\Observability or Cisco solutions
  • Consistently influential with strong presentation skills and the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
  • Project/Program Development experience
  • Strong analytical skill and growth mindset
