Global Campaign Manager, Observability

As a Global Campaign Manager on the Global Integrated Marketing team, you’ll be a part of driving the strategy for our Global Campaigns across Observability as you develop and execute tactics across the buyer’s journey. Reporting to the Director of Global Integrated Marketing, you’ll be coordinating cross-functional teams across marketing on pivotal Tier 1 campaigns and marketing initiatives. To be successful in this role you’ll need to be a self-starter, team player, collaborative, adaptable, and creative. This will be a visible role and will require you to be able to present your work as well as direct teams on key initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Lead initiatives on conceptualizing, creating, optimizing, and updating aspects of the Splunk Observability global campaign strategy (in partnership with key teams such as Product Marketing, Regional Marketing, and other key teams.); including developing a comprehensive buyer’s journey.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to create and execute programs supporting the Splunk Observability global campaign. As well as guide Regional Marketing to ensure alignment within our key regions.
  • Partner with the Brand team and Content team to develop our Observability content timeline and determine how to incorporate key messaging into existing assets.
  • Bring our amazing customer stories to our audience by working with various teams to amplify the latest customer stories in our demand generation efforts.
  • Work closely with Partner Marketing to ensure the latest global campaigns are accessible to our partners.
  • Proactively share and gather input from Regional Marketing on plans and provide regular campaign progress and performance updates.
  • Work closely with the Marketing Analytics and Strategy team to interpret and communicate metrics and targets. Deliver quarterly read-out of overall campaign performance (includes webinars, events, paid digital, nurture, buyer’s journey programs, awareness programs, etc). Clearly explain the meaning of metrics (the what and why) and actions taken based on the analysis.
  • Work across regions to identify and coordinate global campaign needs, timelines, and hand-off/approvals for translations.

Requirements
  • 4 - 6 years of experience in campaigns, email marketing, demand generation, brand or similar marketing roles, with experience in the technology space (B2B preferred).
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to present your work to large groups.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment with a proven ability to meet deadlines and multitask on a variety of projects.
  • Self-motivated marketer who is a strong problem solver, can pivot quickly, and is always testing to create high-performing campaigns and marketing tactics.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in managing big projects and teams who directly or indirectly work for you.
  • Strong understanding of B2B tool stack including CRM, marketing automation, reporting tools, and more.
  • Passionate about building programs and processes from the ground up.
  • A highly collaborative individual with standout communication skills, adept at building relationships and working cross-functionally with key stakeholders.
  • A creative marketer who can build unique and exciting marketing strategies that dazzle and engage our audience.
  • Demonstrates a commitment to treating all colleagues and stakeholders with respect, fostering an inclusive and supportive team environment.

Note:

Base Pay Range

SF Bay Area, Seattle Metro, and New York City Metro Area

Base Pay Range: $132,000.00 - 181,500.00 per year

California (excludes SF Bay Area), Washington (excludes Seattle Metro), Washington DC Metro, and Massachusetts

Base Pay Range: $118,800.00 - 163,350.00 per year

All other cities and states excluding California, Washington, Massachusetts, New York City Metro Area and Washington DC Metro Area.

Base Pay Range: $105,600.00 - 145,200.00 per year

Splunk provides flexibility and choice in the working arrangement for most roles, including remote and/or in-office roles. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location. Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out above, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for incentive compensation and may be eligible for equity or long-term cash awards.
