The Global Demand Center (GDC) is a shared marketing service that runs the email channel globally for Splunk’s marketing organization. We are looking for a Splunker who is highly organized, detailed and skilled at process management to be one of our Traffic Managers. This role has shared ownership for all incoming and active email campaign projects and keeping our production resources on task and meeting all agreed timelines.

What you'll get to do

Primary duties include reviewing and understanding incoming email campaign tickets and requested timelines, ensuring resource capacity is available to meet those timelines, and tickets processed are implemented and delivered on time, while targeting flawless execution.
 
This person will also be a key contributor for managing and enforcing our workflow project management system processes, SLA timelines and being a main point of contact to answer requester questions. They will work closely with other Traffic Managers and internal Operations resources, to ensure submitted campaign tickets are processed accordingly and pinpoint any operational inefficiencies. This person will act as a brand ambassador for the GDC across Splunk’s entire organization and work closely with all members of the Marketing team, including Brand & Creative, Marketing Operations, Campaign/Field/DemandGen, Segmentation, and others.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the Global Demand Center request queue.
  • Review new and in-progress email campaign requests quickly and routinely.
  • Work closely across the Marketing Operations, Segmentation and Global Marketing Teams to govern processes, cadence, email communications governance, issue paths and SLAs.
  • Meet with requesters to learn more about new project requests, give progress updates on existing tickets/ projects and communicate any issues.
  • Help maintain ticket tracker & email calendar to ensure all internal customers have awareness of campaign volume and timelines.
  • Monitor tickets and workloads, adjusting assignments and timing accordingly.
  • Be a liaison between requester and Operations team regarding any issues with platforms or campaign programs.
  • Manage certain campaign lead list uploads into internal systems and communicate progress and completion through our workflow ticketing tool.
  • Share standard methodologies, process improvements and new functionality from within the GDC to marketing teams ensuring that these are leveraged and implemented into their campaign plans.

Qualifications

  • 3-4 years experience in B2B marketing, inbound and outbound digital marketing, demand generation or marketing operations.
  • Process orientated, highly organized, excels at multitasking, strong documentation, coordination and organization skills.
  • Ability to articulate sophisticated workflows, dependencies, solutions and trade-offs.
  • Creative problem solver that can regularly step back from the details of a problem and come up with creative solutions to achieve success.
  • Strong decision-making skills and deep understanding of the internal processes with the ability to think in new ways.
  • Able to balance a wide variety of requests from customers with sophisticated timelines and limited resources.
  • Highly skilled at time-management, is detail oriented and has high standards for project delivery.
  • Strong intellectual curiosity to develop and embrace new standard methodologies to build a continuous improvement culture.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, super compact seasonal environment to meet timelines and anticipate problems acting proactively.
  • Experience with Marketo and Workfront is ideal.

Base Pay Range

SF Bay Area, Seattle Metro, and New York City Metro Area

Base Pay Range: $108,000.00 - 148,500.00 per year

California (excludes SF Bay Area), Washington (excludes Seattle Metro), Washington DC Metro, and Massachusetts

Base Pay Range: $97,200.00 - 133,650.00 per year

All other cities and states excluding California, Washington, Massachusetts, New York City Metro Area and Washington DC Metro Area.

Base Pay Range: $86,400.00 - 118,800.00 per year

Splunk provides flexibility and choice in the working arrangement for most roles, including remote and/or in-office roles. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location. Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out above, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for incentive compensation and may be eligible for equity or long-term cash awards.
