Then this role is for you! We are looking for an experienced Director to lead our talented EMEA Corporate Marketing team with the aim of driving demand, customer engagement and awareness to support Splunk’s fast growing EMEA business. This pivotal role sits at the intersection of the EMEA business, and corporate and regional marketing teams, and leads the following functions: Digital & Campaigns, Customer Marketing, Content & Thought Leadership and Top Account & CxO Programs.
What you’ll get to do
- Build the strategy and drive execution of the plan for our centralized EMEA marketing functions, ensuring alignment with country-level field marketing plans and accountability for results that contribute to the EMEA Plan of Record
- Digital and Campaigns: Orchestrate regional marketing programs for Splunk’s security and observability go-to-market, including contact acquisition, lead generation and email and webinar nurture programs. This involves close partnership with our global integrated marketing team (campaigns CoE) to leverage global scale and layer on regional customisation as required.
- Customer Marketing, Content and Thought-Leadership: Build customer advocacy and thought leadership strategy for EMEA, including local content creation and translation aligned to regional goals, as well as integrated regional activation around quarterly global thought leadership launches to drive awareness, demand and customer engagement.
- Top Account and CxO Programs: Lead and evolve a set of programs designed to deepen intimacy with our most strategic customer accounts as well as establish and nurture executive relationships. This includes global and regional briefing programs, in-account marketing and a set of strategic events.
- Act as the “voice of the region” into corporate marketing teams to influence global strategies and share feedback to optimize future programs
- Lead, coach and grow a high-performing team of cross-functional marketers
- Drive alignment with key stakeholders across the business, including global integrated marketing, corporate marketing, regional leadership and in-country marketing and sales teams
- Own budget planning and day-to-day management, with a rigorous approach to getting value out of every dollar
- Track critical success metrics, report on program effectiveness and look for ways to optimize programs
Must-have qualifications
- 10 years’ marketing experience in the technology industry, ideally in B2B SaaS
- 5 years’ experience of building and leading high performing teams, especially under transformation
- A good understanding of the opportunities and challenges to successfully sell, market, and grow enterprise software, and experience working collaboratively across organizations to bring multiple resources to bear for customer impact
- Project leadership skills with an exceptional attention to details and the ability to prioritize and manage a wide variety of programs simultaneously, within budget and timelines
- A data driven approach to measuring success across demand generation, customer engagement and awareness
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English. Additional languages would be an advantage
- Strong executive presence and ability to influence and work with senior executives
- Professional and energetic demeanor and ability to interact effectively with sales, marketing and other internal teams

Base Pay Range
United Kingdom
Base Pay: GBP 113,600.00 - 156,200.00 per year
Splunk provides flexibility and choice in the working arrangement for most roles, including remote and/or in-office roles. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location. Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out above, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for incentive compensation and may be eligible for equity or long-term cash awards.
