Role:

The role sits within Enterprise Applications Technology Office/Go-to-Market (GTM) Operations. This position will work alongside other leaders and teammates to drive sophisticated, multi-functional efforts that position the company for continued high-growth. The primary focus will be working with a core team on crafting GTM processes to support all aspects of customer success. Cross-functional alignment will be with internal team members involved in Customer Success to deliver various enterprise programs to support Splunk’s growth around the globe. Will apply a consultative approach and process business analysis expertise to drive a portfolio in a fast-paced SaaS company. The goal is to craft Splunk's business capabilities and strategies by analyzing business processes end-to-end, making design recommendations to optimize performance, and supporting the execution of programs to realize our future-state. Also responsible for leading in-flight programs by maintaining a project plan, identifying and detailing risks, issues, and dependencies, and facilitating meetings and workshops to drive program deliverables and outcomes.
Our Applications Transformation Lead will excel at the translation of strategy into execution. They are strategic thinkers with excellent business insights, curious about problems and understanding how everything works in SaaS business models. They apply deep process expertise and apply a range of process improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Document and capture business capabilities, existing processes and design future state experience across GTM customer success touch points. (ie, post-sales, service & renewals, customer journey, support to success, education to certification, fulfillment to on-demand services).
  • Ability to apply various techniques and methods, including codify the customer experience and recommend process improvements to address corporate priorities and objectives.
  • Lead and/or support the design of GTM future-state processes by working with functional experts from the business and technical teams to deliver best-in-class solutions.
  • Proactively work with the technical delivery teams to define and implement system solutions - working with agile delivery model by developing the business capabilities, user stories, acceptance criteria, and training materials
  • Ensure baseline metrics and Key Performance Indicators are understood, and assist future state measurement/ management systems for GTM operational health metrics.
  • Produce executive presentations and present simple solutions to complex business problems to diverse team members across the company.

Requirements:

  • BS/BA required, MBA preferred
  • SFDC experience is preferred
  • 12+ years of proven experience focus on sales or post sales
  • Demonstrative work experience in Program Management, Product Management and Process Engineering are preferred
  • Outstanding cross-functional leadership, influencing and interpersonal skills; ability to lead and encourage others without direct authority
  • Sharpe analytical skill with a strong sense of problem solving to drill down to root cause corrective actions with complex systems, structures and processes
  • An ability to effectively communicate sophisticated information to a variety of audiences (front line and up to the C-Suite) written and verbal communication

Note:

Base Pay Range

SF Bay Area, Seattle Metro, and New York City Metro Area

Base Pay Range: $160,000.00 - 220,000.00 per year

California (excludes SF Bay Area), Washington (excludes Seattle Metro), Washington DC Metro, and Massachusetts

Base Pay Range: $144,000.00 - 198,000.00 per year

All other cities and states excluding California, Washington, Massachusetts, New York City Metro Area and Washington DC Metro Area.

Base Pay Range: $129,600.00 - 178,200.00 per year

Splunk provides flexibility and choice in the working arrangement for most roles, including remote and/or in-office roles. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location. Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out above, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for incentive compensation and may be eligible for equity or long-term cash awards.
