Today, we're proud to announce Splunk has achieved a perfect score of 100 on the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s 2023-2024 Corporate Equality Index (CEI), the premier benchmarking survey and report on LGBTQ+ workplace equality in the United States.
2023 is Splunk’s fourth consecutive year receiving a perfect score of 100, reflecting our ongoing commitment to LGBTQ+ inclusion and equality in our workplace and communities. From our LGBTQ+ inclusive workplace benefits to proudly advocating in support of equality in our local communities, we remain firmly committed to a safe and inclusive workplace for all of our employees.
Our score on the CEI reflects our relentless efforts to advance a workplace where every individual, regardless of their background or identity, can be their best, most authentic self so they can do their best work and thrive. It signifies our leadership in workplace diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging (DEIB), as well as a genuine and holistic approach to championing human rights and the principles of belonging within our corporate culture.
“As the executive sponsor of our Pride Employee Resource Group (ERG), I am thrilled Splunk has achieved a perfect score of 100 on the Human Rights Campaign’s CEI for the fourth consecutive year. In addition to reaffirming to current and future Splunkers that our workplace celebrates diversity and champions inclusion and equality for all, this recognition is a valuable differentiator in a competitive landscape where clients and partners are increasingly prioritizing socially responsible and inclusive organizations. I’m incredibly proud of all the teams who have worked together to cement Splunk’s leadership in LGBTQ+ inclusion and equality, especially our Pride ERG and all of you, our Splunkers, who lead our values everyday in service to a better, more inclusive Splunk for everyone.” – Christian Smith, Chief Revenue Officer and Splunk’s Pride ERG executive sponsor
While we are proud of our progress and achievements, we also recognize there is more to be done, especially at a time when LGBTQ+ safety, inclusion and rights are threatened here and around the world. To that end, we are firmly committed to doing the work necessary to build on our progress and ensure we remain an employer of choice for our LGBTQ+ employees and for all who value a safe and inclusive workplace where everyone belongs.
