This trust is crucial for federal agencies and their contractors, who must rely on proven solutions to protect national security and sensitive information.
FedRAMP (Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program), a U.S. government-wide program, provides a standardized approach to security assessment, authorization, and continuous monitoring for cloud products and services. FedRAMP aims to ensure that cloud services used by federal agencies meet stringent security requirements. This helps protect federal information while leveraging cloud technologies. To become FedRAMP authorized, a third-party assessment organization (3PAO) conducts a rigorous evaluation of the cloud product’s security controls. FedRAMP is crucial for any organization looking to offer cloud services to U.S. federal agencies, public sector organizations, and other governmental organizations as it demonstrates a commitment to high-level cybersecurity standards.
Splunk SOAR with FedRAMP Moderate authorization aligns with broader government cybersecurity initiatives, such as the Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) program. These products help agencies meet the goals of such programs by providing automated, standardized approaches to threat detection, incident response, and risk management.
Public sector organizations face unique challenges in handling sensitive data. With Splunk SOAR's FedRAMP Moderate authorization, government procurement processes are streamlined. Splunk SOAR is secure, reliable, and simplifies incident management and response orchestration for federal agencies. FedRAMP authorization reduces evaluation time and resources, enabling quicker deployment and integration into existing security operations.
