Scott Deacon is a public sector Industry Advisor at Splunk responsible for providing thought leadership, business strategy, executive advisory support and industry subject matter expertise to governments across the Asia Pacific region.

Scott's career began in the late 1980’s serving with the Royal Australian Navy. After leaving the Royal Australian Navy, he worked in a number of technology industry roles focused on government and critical infrastructure organisations.

Scott holds a Master of Information Security Systems (CSU) and has been a CISSP since 2003.
