Carol Wright

Carol leads the Splunk Academic Alliance program, which offers Splunk training and industry-recognized Splunk certifications at no cost to university students, faculty, and IT staff. The mission of the program is to grow the cybersecurity talent today for the benefit of society tomorrow. Previously Carol was a technical portfolio manager at Microsoft where she supported learning and development programs. Before Microsoft, Carol was a college professor. She has 15 years of experience in public, private, K-12, university and corporate education settings. Carol holds a Ph.D. in Education Policy from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, an MA from Teachers College, Columbia University, a BA from Lafayette College and graduated from the United Nations International School (UNIS) in New York City.
