Brett Matthews is a seasoned technology leader with a career spanning over 25 years in the world's most innovative and disruptive technology companies. With a notable 14+ year tenure at Splunk Australia & New Zealand, Brett has successfully built and currently leads the technical organisation, which has gained global recognition as one of the most accomplished and diverse teams within the company.

Throughout his extensive career, Brett has leveraged his expertise in Telecommunications, Financial Services, and Public Sector domains to engage as a trusted advisor to leading organisations across Australia, New Zealand, Asia and Japan. Brett's deep industry knowledge and strategic insights have enabled customers to drive value through data, emphasising its pivotal role in ensuring digital resilience and business success across critical areas such as Observability, IT Operations, Cyber Security, Compliance, and Business Analytics.

Brett currently serves as the Area Vice President of the ANZ Solutions Engineering Organisation and the APAC Solution Architecture Organisation for Platform, Observability, and Security.
