(NYSE:ARW) and Splunk Inc. (NASDAQ: SPLK), provider of the leading software platform for real-time Operational Intelligence, today announced a distribution agreement for the United States and Canada. Under this agreement, Arrow’s enterprise computing solutions business will distribute Splunk® software that lets users search, monitor and analyze all machine-generated IT and business data from a single location in real time.

Customers gain real-time visibility and insights from Splunk Enterprise in multiple use cases including IT operations, application delivery, security, compliance, digital intelligence and business analytics.
• Hunk® brings Splunk’s big data analytics stack to organizations’ data in Hadoop and NoSQL databases, allowing users to detect patterns and find anomalies across terabytes or petabytes of raw data in Hadoop or NoSQL data stores without specialized skill sets, fixed schemas or months of development.
• Splunk App for Enterprise Security: a next-generation security intelligence platform that provides monitoring, alerting and analytics to detect known and unknown threats in real time with out-of-the-box content.
