Splunk Chief Technology Officer to Discuss Big Data Analytics, Security and Visualizations at Bloomberg CFO Conference

SAN FRANCISCO - May 15, 2014 - Splunk Inc. (NASDAQ: SPLK), provider of the leading software platform for real-time Operational Intelligence, today announced that Todd Papaioannou, chief technology officer, Splunk, will discuss how Splunk® software is helping financial organizations understand and address security risks at the Bloomberg CFO Conference in New York. The session “CFO as Technologist” is scheduled for Tuesday, May 20, at 11:20 a.m. ET.

The panel will be moderated by Diane Brady, senior editor at Bloomberg Businessweek and will address topics such as how technology has improved supply chain management, how to identify emerging security risks and how organizations are leveraging big data analytics and visualization to obtain operational intelligence and competitive advantage. Papaioannou will be joined on the panel by Mike Herring, chief financial officer, Pandora, and Mike Karim, chief financial officer, GE Software.
